To ja 2.0 THP. Tole bo zakon. Pa ideja o eni centralni matici za feltne je pa tudi dobra. So se po taprvi žabi zgledovali.

Pa se zmeraj zgleda ok. Ce mi ponudijo 2.0 THP za 25 jurjev, se bomo se pogovarjali. =) Seveda, ce se bo zadeva spodobno premikala ...

Meni je ful lep, samo sredinsko konzolo bo potrebno sprobat, sem bolj pristaš lufta med sedeži, kot pa teh novodobnih konzol. Komaj čakam, da tole pride k nam, da se malo naslinim pa to, sedeži pa so v stilu ds4

Sem spremljal "Live video chat", kjer smo lahko gledalci postavljali vprašanja, oblikovalci pa so odgovarjali.

Tukaj je nekaj vprašanj in odgovorov:

1. Agostinho : What was your inspiration for this car ?
For all Citroen vehicles, it's our heritage. For all our tractions, DS, we have been inspired by our past and also aviation.
But also by the rest of the auyomotive industry.

2. Virgile : Which competitors models aims the Citroën DS5 ?
DS5 is a new concept, so for the moment we don't have any real competitors.
We are slightly above the traditional segment.

3. Barbieux : Hello, on each model of the DS line you can see a distinctive sign (the shark fin on DS3, 5 portes a cut that is not with a DS4) and for the DS5 is the boomerang aluminum hood and slightly back on the windshield, they are small signs very nice, but where do you get inspiration to find these ideas? Thank you for the response and wish you a very good continuation of the Citroën range and on the future DS.
It's more of a trick.
We adjust the proportion and the mass of the vehicle. The DS line has a very unique silhouette.
We wanted something you could notice from far away, that's why we created the sword.
The sword appeared on the Sportlounge concept car.

4. CAFFRAY Frédéric : Hello, what will be the diesel motorization on the DS5? When is it to be released in France? Any price range? Best regards, Mr Caffray.
What a lot of questions!
The DS5 will be the first vehicle to have the Diesel Hybrid4 engine.
It will also come as HDI 110.
Then, there will be a preview in September in Frankfurt.
Last question about the price.
It is a bit early to answer.
These are very competitive vehicles.

5. Mamar : How much time did you worked on design with this model ? It is so pretty and thin ;)
A project takes about 4 years.
As for the design, we have been involved from the beginning.
Even for a premium vehicle, it's the same. The finish requirements need a lot of attention and time.
It was a great adventure for all.

6. Tom : Is there a panoramic roof ?
We all want to answer!
We have a full sunroof on most DS5. It's a cockpit roof.
This is much in line with the atmosphere of the DS5.
It's not a full glass sunroof. In fact there are 3 light wells.
We were inspired by a cockpit.
At the front, we have toggles, swithes buttons, very similar to an aircraft.
You can open your own light well, it's really unique.

7. Marc Grenoble : Will you launch bi color models like the DS3 ?
There will be tones.
Black with another colour.
We have had this question before. We have decided not to go with this technology.
The DS5 is more a dynamic vehicle, and we have focused on the pleasure, the fun of driving the vehicle.
We want a new architecture, less CO2.
This is not in contradiction with our DS heritage.
The services are not the same.

8. steve : The DS5 reminds me a concept car (sport lounge) you revealed a few years ago, is there a link between them ?
The link is right here : Fred.
In 2005, we got excellent feedback from the Concept car in Frankfurt and deciced to keep this idea in the back of our head.
We wanted to develop a vehicle even more sexy than a concept car.
Here are some drawings and pictures. As you can see, there are many similarities.
Notice ths sword here, it's in the vehicle's DNA.

9. Ruben Haris: What is the most challenging part in designing DS5?
This is a very new architecture. We had no real codes. We started from scratch...
We have a secret test facility, did many tests, looked at proportions, size..
All the objects we have created are moving objects. In this facility, we look at all the parts.
The shape of the DS5 is so new, that we have spent much time on studying light for instance.
A few years ago, this was a UFO.
We had no experience on this.
We wanted a new story for the DS, we wanted heritage. The DS should be recognizable from a distance, but it has to be consistent with the entire line.
It is an architectural object.
We worked on its silhouette.

10. Seb : Why did you reveal the car in China, and not in Europe ?
This was an opportunity in times of timing, it was an avant-première for the Shanghai exhibition but also because of the large market.
The vehicle will be produced locally if the joint-venture kicks off.

11. Benjamin Lebas : will the DS5 be manufactured in France ?
It was designed and developped in France and will be produces in Sochaux.
There is a lot of French input in the DS range.

12. jean : Hello, the DS5 is really beautiful, but is it big enough for a family of 4?
Of course!
The architecture is designed to answer those criteria, specially in terms of boot space.
It's a beautiful object for the family!
This car was designed to provide a balance betweens aesthetics and service.
There is as much space behind as in a sedan.
It's a standardized car. It's a family car but it's also fun to drive.
Your kids will be in wonderland!
It also depends on the age of the kids in question!!
Some of our drivers become kids again when they test the car.

13. victor de Marseille : Hello, nice car! But would you say this a unisex car or is it aiming more at men?
Generally it pleases both sexes!
Usually both parents make a decision when buying.
Based on the segment, the DS3 might be a more feminine car than the DS5.
It's not masculine or feminine. Many women drive big cars nowadays!

14. mina : What is the difference between C5 and DS5 ?
The architecture is totally different and these are completely different designs.
It's a iddicult question, but in terms of marketing these vehicles are complimentary.
The DS5 is a non-conformist vehicle.
The outside, inside designs are different, the DS5 tells its own story!
From a technical point of view, there are parts in common, parts that don't show.
In the DS5, we have tried to optimize it. It's compact. So these are very different vehicles. Don't forget its a Hybrid vehicle.
We have two approaches, two different vehicles.

15. Khalil : are you planning to launch a sport version ?
We will certainly ask ourselves this question in the planning years.
We look at waht's going on around us, and we are not closing any doors!
We have a turbo horse version. Its put together and puts a lot of smiles on a lot of faces!

16. Stephane : Will the sword be only in aluminum or will there be other colors ?
It will be chrome, but the tones vary.
There will be two.
There are eight colours in fact.
About the outside, there won't be any flashy colours.
As for the inside, there will be a very wide choice for the leather! Flashy red..etc

The stitching is beautiful...

17. Bartolic, Istria: What are your expectations in the first year of sales DS5. How many pieces you plan to sell?
At the end of the Chat, he could help us do the businedd plan.
We're looking to or thousand vehicles, specifically for DS5.
We sold 100.000 DS3.

18. John: so it's smaller than C5?
Yes, I said it was more compact, I would'nt say "smaller".
The space is organized in a different way...
We worked a lot on this.
The DS line is a different architecture. It's part of the DNA of this line.
We weren't only looking for compactness but we wanted to focus on the spirit. Not do more, but do better!

19. Souhail du Maroc : What are the colors of the leather ?
We have white, black, beige, red top quality leather as we said earlier. We focused on the interior design. The coulours, the finish are extremely important to us.
What about the bracelet style leather?
It's a special process. It's not silky, but slightly shiny.

20. Karim : Will the famous "teaser White Pearl" be available one day ? In a limited edition ?
We are keeping all our options open, so maybe not. For the moment we are working on the launch.
The white pearl is what we showed in Shanghai.
There are some details we may use for future editions. White pearl illustrates what we're best at. It's almost a pice of jewellery.

21. jacqui : what specific options have you created for the DS5 ?
As for equipment, the DS5 is a very well equipped vehicle.
We have a 2nd generation lane crossing system.
The system will warn you thanks to a small camera.

22. Handjes: Would you say the DS5 is French design or Chinese design? What markets is the DS5 intended for?
Its a DS design and a Citroen design above all. It's a premium vehicle "à la Française".
It was born and raised in France but will be marketed globally.
There is no such a thing as a Chinese design...
Maybe we could talk about a gloabl design but it's first and foremost French and Citroen.
This is a vision of French luxury, and we are seeking for clients in China.

23. Michael Simpkins: Do you hope to take a piece of the premium market away from the Germans with the DS5 ?
This is a million dollar question. When we present our vehicle in Germany, we are hoping customers choose Citroen because we have reached a certain level of technology and design.
We are going for a new class of customers. We are clearly in the premium market!

24. Sebastien : why the lateral line doesn't continue on the rear window ?
This line had to stop where it stops because it shows how compact the car is. It links both doors.
It maintains elegance and we wanted that link right on the door. We wanted it to show mass and quality which is part and parcel of the entire DS line.

25. Martin : Is there any specific work on aero dynamism ?
We worked a great deal with our aerodynamic engineers.
There are lateral dips, the back is cut off, and this contributes to a real aerodynamic performance.
This vehicle is a sculpture.
These dips have an aerodynamci function.
Its entirely part of the style. All aspects of the vehcile, even the chassis are taken care of.
We're very proud of the front end, the headlamps. It's a very fluid vehicle.

26. Elisa : Will the key be customizable like DS3 ?
We played on a different register for the DS5.
You know what, I'm not going to tell you!!
It's a new technology : we don't need the key to start the vehicle. The key is a real jewel, designed specifically with the DS emblem.

27. Would the president like to have one?
I think our President would like one. The car will be released in 2012 so it's up to the new President. But it certainly is a Presidential vehicle...

28. tzanetos : shall we see an "eHDI" edition like ds3 and maybe like ds4?
No, we will have an e-HDI drive.
In this segment, we want simple lines.
In the rest of the range, it is more obvious.

29. Dounia: Why choose to have a new logo design for the DS line?
We wanted a new brand image and needed a new emblem, and DS is part of the French heritage. It's a signature more than en emblem...
There is a common point between the drivers. They want vehicles with a strong style, architecture. They buy the desire to be different. It's really a state of mind, they want something else.

30. Kat : Will it be possible to order DS5 on the web before launching like for DS3 and DS4 ?
Good idea! Let's think about it!
