New Citroen DS5 Comes At Geneva Motor Show 2011

Citroen DS5 will be the third arrived in French premium range. The new model will have a "amazing" design, say the Citroen officials.
 After released on  the market DS3 and is preparing to announce new DS4, Citroen will bring  at the Paris Motor Show 2010, which will take place in autumn, the  concept that will foreshadow the third member of its premium line. It's  DS5 model, which is scheduled for release in the series version in 2011.

According to  French newspaper, Le Pays, which published in premiere this information,  the series version of DS5 will be presented at Geneva Motor Show, in  March 2011. Until then, after the official presentation of the concept  of the same name, Citroen will assemble a series of preproduction units,  which will be tested by Citroen engineers starting from December this  year.
 New Citroen DS5  will be a crossover between a wagon, a van and a medium sedan, as its  design will be completely new one for the current auto industry. One of  the directors of the PSA, Jean-Philippe Jombart, argues that new DS5,  which has already been before the Board of Directors of the company, is  "a passionate shock" and the CA members are "amazed" by the new model.

Several reports are out now, suggesting Citroen's intent to launch  their first-ever hybrid.  The Citroen DS5 could hit the market at some  point in 2011, part of Citroen's premium DS lineup.
 PSA Peugeot Citroen has been dabbling in hybrids in recent times.   The company showed off the Peugeot Prologue Hymotion4 concept at last  year's Paris Motor Show, which led to the announcement of the Peugeot  3008 hybrid. When released -also in 2011- that car will come with a  powerful-enough diesel engine up front, and an electric motor mounted at  the rear.  The two systems will work together to generate nearly 200hp,  while running as a four-wheel drive.

This diesel/electric pairing would likely be chosen for the DS5.  We  expect the DS5 to be a family car with a somewhat similar design as the  C5. Reports suggest the car will be based on the C-Sportlounge Concept,  which debuted at the 2005 Frankfurt show.  The DS5 would be a step up in  class, and should have some luxury options available as well.   AutoExpress is reporting that Citroen would hold off on their launch,  allowing parent Peugeot to have the honor of introducing the world's  first diesel-electric hybrid.
 More news should be available soon for the new Citroen DS5 hybrid, and we'll let you know what we find out.

Informacija glede serijske proizvodnje DS4 in DS5

Poleg DS3 bi naj Citroen serijsko proizvajal tudi DS4 in DS5.
DS4 bi bi naj temeljil na osnovi C-Sportlounge medtem, ko bi naj DS 5 temeljil na osnovi Citroen Hypnos.

Kar se tiče DS5 je Citroen potrdil, da bo avto temeljil na konceptu Hypnos. To bo SUV, ki bo deloval na podobnem principu kot hibrid BMW X6. Toda, BMW bo le za evropski trg (leva stran) in se ne bo prodajal v Združenem kraljestvu medtem, ko bo DS5 v salonih v letu 2011  in bo predstavljal Citroenov model dizelsko električnih pogonov.

Poleg serije DS je Citroen napovedal tudi, da je trenutno ocenjujejo proizvodnjo različice koncepta C-Cactus. S tem bi Citroen vstopil v ekološko področje avtomobilizma in bi bil vzporedno v proizvodnji z DS4 in DS5.

Tudi meni se še vse predstavljene variante zdijo vredne nakupa, vsaj po obliki.

Èe pa bo naprodaj kakšna ne preveč grda varianta kaktusa ,:AngelPray::AngelPray:
 bi se morda celo odločil za novega. Kot je bil predstavljen, mi je filozofija tega avta prav všeč.
